Paediatric First Aid Course
This course is in line with The Early Years Foundation Stage & SureStart guidance which states a minimum of 12 contact hours (not including breaks). Each person will receive a colourful book, handouts, Guidance card for quick referral and First Aid pouch which includes CPR mask and vinyl gloves.
Our training includes all children, baby and adult manikins.
The Early Years Foundation Stage / SureStart First Aid Criteria:
- Planning for first aid emergencies involving babies and childern
- Dealing with emergencies
- Resuscitating babies, children and adults
- Defibrillation for adult and Child
- Shock
- Anaphylactic Shock
- Electric Shock
- Bleeding
- Burns and Scalds
- Choking
- Fractures
- Head, neck and back injuries
- Poisoning
- Foreign objects in eyes, ears and nose
- Bites and stings
- Extreme heat and cold
- Febrile convulsions
- Chronic medical conditions including: - epilepsy, asthma, sickle cell, diabetes, meningitis and other sudden serious illnesses
On successful completion of the course and assessment a three year certificate will be issued.

On-Site Booking
This course can be run "On-Site". The price starts £712.00 (ex VAT) for a group of up to 8. For up to 10 it is £735.00 (ex VAT).
Ratio of instructor to candidates is 1:12, we can train bigger groups when required.
